Fortune 100 Corporation Child Development Center

Fortune th+a architects recently completed the finish-out of this existing downtown building, re-fitting the space into an early childhood facility to serve 162 children of employees.

The facility was designed to comply with NAEYC standards, and was designed to meet the criteria of LEED Silver Designation for Existing Buildings. The building received this award in May 2013 as part of the project's sustainability initiative. The team was diligent in identifying and inventorying existing construction, infrastructure and equipment for re-use.

Redesigned interior lighting at classrooms provided energy efficiency and improved photometrics, and existing fixtures were reused where possible in other accessory spaces.
